These changes, effective 01 September 2024, include new application features and a revised service fee structure aimed at enhancing the efficiency of expatriate management in Malaysia.

To better serve employers and streamline the expatriate application process, TalentCorp and MYXpats have introduced new features on the Xpats Gateway platform, reduced processing times, and expanded online services. These initiatives aim to facilitate quicker and more efficient processing of expatriate-related applications, enhancing Malaysia’s business-friendly environment.
Additionally, the service fees for EP, DP, and PVP applications have been revised to reflect the improved services offered.

– A new single-window platform launched on 15 June 2023, integrating processes across 26 Approving and Regulatory Agencies, simplifying the application process for expatriates. - Reduced Processing Time:
– Application processing times for EP and PVP have been reduced to less than a week for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Critical Sector companies. - New Online Services:
– The ESD Online system now offers services like Transfer of Endorsement, Amendment of Approved Application, and Cancellation of Passes, among others, eliminating the need for manual submissions. - Expanded Expatriate Satellite Centre:
– A new Expatriate Satellite Centre (ESC) at KLIA Terminal 2 operates 24/7, providing more flexibility and convenience for expatriates, with pass endorsements now available at both KLIA Terminals 1 and 2. - Revised Service Fees:
– Updated service fees for EP, DP, and PVP applications take effect from 01 September 2024, with competitive pricing benchmarked against international standards.
